Request a Survivor
RAINN Speakers Bureau
The Speakers Bureau is composed of nearly 3,000 incredible humans who have survived sexual violence.
These individuals represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. Together, they represent invaluable knowledge and strength.
What do Speakers Bureau members do?
RAINN connects Speakers Bureau members with speaking opportunities from coast-to-coast organizations seeking to collaborate with survivors of sexual violence. These requests come from the press and media, event organizers, education groups, and respected artists.
Request a Survivor
RAINN can connect you with a survivor-speaker to present at your event or contribute to your project.
When should I submit my request?
Fill out the request form 4 to 6 weeks before your event or deadline so that we can fulfill your request in an appropriate time frame.
What happens after I submit a request?
When RAINN receives a speaking request, we forward it to our nearly 3,000-member Speakers Bureau. The email will include the event organizer’s direct contact information for the event organizer.

How will I know if a survivor wants to collaborate with my organization?
Speakers Bureau members will contact you directly if they are available to speak at your event.
Depending on the interest for your event, you may receive 50+ response emails from Speakers Bureau members. Please respond to all survivors who reach out, even after you have selected someone for your project or event.
If you have any other questions during the process, you can contact speakersbureau@rainn.org for help.
