Hi,
Do you have the following option on the Modify page for your RDS instance?
If yes, you have to switch Mirroring to No to get back to single instance.
I'd strongly suggest to backup your db before doint this change so that you can restore your current status if any issue arises.

I did not get any option like this in modification of Aurora MySQL RDS db.t3.medium cluster.

Thank you for asking your question.
In Amazon Aurora, Multi-AZ means that the Reader instance is launched in a different Availability Zone (AZ) from the Writer instance, and is used as the failover target. Therefore, if you change from Multi-AZ to Single-AZ, you will need to manually delete the Reader instance in order to configure it as a Single-AZ setup.
