Application up and running but not shown in Console Management

0

I made a website to act as my resume. I made it while I was trying to learn about aws. I logged in after a year only to find the application missing in the management console. However, the website is still up and running.

Is there any way to at least get the website down? I have been trying to locate the amplify instance but no luck. I cannot even find any way to connect to any support from aws to get the amplify application down.

I made this website year ago; I did not note anything down or remember any detail about it. I just have its URL. The website has some of my personal details.

Hello.

Is it possible that you are accessing a different AWS account or a different region?
Please try changing the region of the management console using the steps described in the following document.

AWS Support can be accessed from the following URL.
https://support.console.aws.amazon.com/support/home#/

  • In the EC2 console, at the top of the navigation menu, you can find EC2 Global View. It's an easy way to find which region your EC2 instances, EBS volumes, VPCs, and other EC2 resources reside in.

I agree that you should confirm that you're in the same AWS account and region where the Amplify resource was initially created. This is most likely to be where the issue lies.

If you were just starting to learn AWS at the time the resource was created, chances are that you may have created it in the default region.

Another tool you can use to find out if the service is still running is Cost Explorer. It will indicate all your active services. However, to access it, you'll need to sign in as the root user.
