Can I answer the AWS re:Post question with the generate AI?
Are users asking questions to this community looking for answers created by the generated AI?
At least I'm not looking for an answer created by the generate AI.
The answers I'm looking for are answers based on the knowledge experienced by users and guesses from the results obtained through tests.
It looks like you are copying and pasting answers that seem to have been created by multiple users with the generated AI.

  • What I want to know is whether I can answer the user's question by pasting the answer created using ChatGPT as it is. It seems that multiple users are pasting answers created from generate AI such as ChatGPT.
The community guidelines are described as follows. https://repost.aws/guidelines

Don't copy content from others. The content and images in your posts should represent your own thoughts, work, and knowledge.

  • If users want a Gen AI based answer they are more than capable of getting that from many sources. re:Post is community forum for the exchanges of information between users. Please stay within the intended use of the site.

I agree that submitting responses as the generative AI generates violates the guidelines and may result in unhelpful answers.

On the other hand, I believe that some questions are common questions, and it is true that some problems can be solved by the answers generated by the generative AI. (I don't think it is a good practice, but if it solves the questioner's problem, it is useful.)

If you find an inappropriate answer, we would appreciate it if you could keep it sound by casting a negative vote.
