We love the outdoors, but we definitely don't like it when people leave public spaces in a mess! Overflowing bins and litter strewn everywhere spoil our parks' beauty, and prevents others from enjoying them too. If you're outdoors, do dispose of your trash properly and tidy up after you go. If the bins are full, hang on to your trash until you find an empty bin, instead of adding to the growing pile. These small acts makes a big difference! #YearOfPublicHygiene #KeepSGClean #SGGreenPlan

Let's not keep starting from the beginning! Keeping our public spaces clean and green means everyone gets to enjoy them, and also helps lighten the load for our cleaners too! 🚯🌟🗑️ #YearofPublicHygiene #KeepSGClean #Binit #CleanandGreenSingapore

I’m Syakir from MSE’s Water and Food Policy Division (WFPD). At WFPD, our task is to ensure Singaporeans have a safe and good supply of food and water, two essential resources! As part of the Water Team, I work with PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency to formulate policies to build a smart, resilient, and sustainable water system. We also work with other government agencies (e.g. MHA and MFA) to enhance water security and safeguard our water supply. Working in a fast-paced and challenging environment is both exciting and demanding. But fret not; there is strong support and space for growth at MSE. From opportunities to lead on key workstreams, to attending design thinking courses that enhance my policy-making skills, my bosses and colleagues at MSE have been highly supportive of my career development and my pursuit of self-improvement. As part of MSE Family (together with our Statutory Boards – PUB, NEA and SFA), we champion Singapore's efforts towards a greener, more sustainable, and resilient future for ourselves and generations to come. Join a purpose-driven team with a collective passion and commitment to make Singapore a pleasant place to live in.
