Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira founded the Brazilian TFP in 1960 and inspired autonomous, sister TFPs in 25 countries, forming the world's largest network of anti-communist
organizations of Catholic inspiration. A man of faith, thought, and action, his work Revolution and Counter-Revolution continues to inspire Catholics today. A statement of the Holy See regarding his book, The Church in the Communist State: The Impossible Coexistence, fittingly describes his entire life's work: "A most faithful echo of all the documents of the Supreme Magisterium of the Church."
