Aimee, Sweet Tooth

She was sick long before she left us, but that didn’t make it sting any less. While Aimee and Big Man worked to free the children, the virus wreaked havoc on her health. Despite knowing she would die, she still refused to take any treatment made from hybrid blood. There may have been heaps of tears — on screen and in our living rooms — but Aimee Eden undoubtedly died a hero.
Date of Death: April 27, 2023
Maria Hill’s death in SI was such BS. It was completely pointless and had virtually zero impact on the overall story. It’s like the writers didn’t know what to do with her character, so they decided to just turn her into cannon fodder.
I honestly thought it was a fake death and she was somehow going to come back. Was shocked when the episodes kept going and she didn’t come back. Does seem like a wasted opportunity to have more time with Nick and Maria.
It made me all the madder because one of the reasons for Stumptown’s reversal cancelation was that Cobie would be more available to the MCU. She gets a few cameo’s and is killed off. If they don’t “resurrect her” somehow, we lost a great character and a great show in service to a terrible product.
The Last of Us, Bill and Frank’s relationship development was just so beautiful to watch. Even though I like rewatching shows, I cant rewatch that episode till the end. Their deaths were sad but guess it’s the nature of the show.
*possible spoiler* How does this list not include Izzy Hands on Our Flag Means Death?!
This right here!
I really, really hope Maria Hill’s death gets undone somehow. Bring on the multiverse, dangit! Or maybe she turns out to be an LMD and the reason she didn’t let anybody know is she was off-planet on some secret mission and doesn’t know that she’s ‘dead’. Anything, really.
Well again there are other projects she has popped in and hopefully she pops up in moon girl and devil dibasour again and again I’m not the target audience but enjoyed the show and Lawrence fishburne plays a diffrent version of the watcher in this show and is great
Having Gary die in A Million Little Things was ridiculous. He was a fun guy and loved by all. Mind you I don’t know what he was doing for a living, so maybe the writers could have kept him alive if the serious was renewed.
He was an insurance underwriter I think. Just reading about it now brings a tear to my eye. When I watched the episode, I had a big ‘ol ugly cry!
Felipe’s death in Mayans was a noble death, for who he was protecting.
As a huge fan of The Blacklist, Raymond and James Spader, I was very disappointed to see him die. I hoped that we would have instead seen him living it up somewhere.
I hate to validate the stereotype of the Nerd correcting people about mistakes surrounding Star Trek. But, Ro Lauren is a bajoren and her given name is second. So in the article is should be listed as Lauren, not Ro (since Ro is her family name.)
Nerd away. I caught that too. Great character/actress.
How does this list not include Sonya Eddys Ephinay Johnson on general Hospital???
TVLine’s Year in review package does not cover daytime soap operas; perhaps our sister site Soaps.com does something similar? (I am unsure.) –Mgmt.
Yet we included a Cat from Y&R
Yes, like many I was disappointed at Maria Hill’s death. Unlike everyone though I hope they don’t bring her back. Also sad for Cobbie as an actress as it mean no more work in the MCU, unless she play a different character in heavy prosthetics.
This was the single biggest gripe and the reason I stopped reading comic books some 25 years ago. Was the constant killing of character(s) only to constantly bring them back. In the end it was just insulating to the reader. You know characters like most of the introduced before the year 2000 X-Men have been killed of more that 5-10 time each!.
Killing a character off should be a huge decision, but once made, live with it. Or just don’t kill the character in the first place. Sad to say now every comic book company does the same.
I haven’t seen A Million Little Things’ series finale yet because I was in denial and still hopeful that, for some miracle, Gary would survive and TV Line had to put his pic in the first page and ruin everything.
It aired in May 2023. What? We have to wait until YOU watch that episode before we can discuss it??
Yep. Everyone in the world must check in with Tays to make sure they have watched a show before discussing or posting about it from here on out
25. Sazz Pataki, Only Murders in the Building
A crucial missed spot
Spoiler for the Foundation below…
I would add Salvor Hardin from the second season of Foundation. She was a major and dominant character, and her death was unexpected and intensely emotional.
