We're so thrilled to announce that we are the winner of the One to Watch Award (supported by Barclays Eagle Labs) at the Enterprise Works at the University of York Enterprise Awards 2024. 🍽🏆 It was a fantastic ceremony celebrating enterprises in York and North Yorkshire and it's an honour to be recognised among other businesses having a social impact in the area.

So good to see the successful launch of School Kitchen which recently opened its first location in York. Partnering with schools to run home delivery restaurants from their kitchens outside of teaching hours, School Kitchen currently offers its local York community several contemporay menu concepts. This delivers additional revenue to the school. The school has also benefited from sustainability improvements courtesy of School Kitchen, plus the children are benefitting from cooking classes and a homegrown vegetable garden. Congrats to David Nicholson and the team, looking forward to watching this community-focused business thrive!

Community-focused takeaway service School Kitchen launches in Yorkshire. The School Kitchen team, led by chief executive and founder David Nicholson, welcomed friends, family, press and the York Civic Party to celebrate the launch of this new initiative in York. School Kitchen is a new takeaway food model that aims to support local communities, provide great tasting food from around the world and prioritise sustainability. By partnering with local schools, School Kitchen uses their kitchens when the schools aren’t using them and runs home delivery takeaway restaurants from them. https://lnkd.in/d_4ppKW7
