Our good friends at The Flint are doing something amazing ahead of #IBC in the name of #networking and #sustainability - do you want to be part of it? Are you going to IBC? Not booked your flight yet? Then don't. What is The Flint Green Line? The Flint Green Line is a unique media industry networking event taking place in a dedicated Eurostar carriage heading to the IBC Show in September. Setting out from London’s St. Pancras Station on Thurs, Sept. 12, at 11:04am, it offers IBC attendees low-carbon, direct travel to Amsterdam. Bringing together broadcasters, technologists, sustainability experts, analysts, journalists this is a train trip like no other, featuring networking, education, and even a pub quiz. Will there be free food? Of course there will be free food. And free drinks. And free desserts. But will there be a live jazz band? Yes, there will be a live jazz band. UK-based btn2ldn will be providing chilled jazz riffs throughout the journey. So what happens aboard The Green LIne? The goal of The Flint Green Line is to have fun and to meet new colleagues in a low carbon environment. Their job is to make sure you have enjoy yourself, get new, useful contacts and maybe learn a few things you didn’t know before. Activities include a short training on sustainability for the media industry, a speed dating sessions and a pub quiz. In addition The Flint will be conducting one-on-one video interviews with our guests for our wrap-up of the event. How do I book a seat? Green Line tickets for the general public will be available from June 3 at discounted prices (you will be required to show proof that you have registered for the IBC Show). Participants will be entered to win a seat upgrade for their return Eurostar journey (unlike on an airplane, no need to feel guilty about that business-class sprawl!). To book your tickets, email Neil Howman directly at nhowman@theflint.media
