Talk to a real person!

Autopom answers their phone calls with an actual person. A live person returned my call promptly, and answered all my concerns. This might seem trivial but in a world of self service prompts this was refreshing. The plan pricing was on point with all of the coverage I was looking for.

The representative who helped get me started did a Fantastic Job. His name is Robert. He clearly answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely friendly and compassionate.

The policy I purchased appears to provide greater coverage for less money, compared to competing 3rd party warranty providers.

We will see how things play out in the future, but in the beginning phases of signing up with Auto Pom, I feel optimistic.

The associate I spoke to was polite and knowledgeable and did not push a hard sell.

The associate I spoke to did not up-sell, or use heavy handed tactics like your two competitors did. He was professional and polite. Your company policy of having a dedicated go-to person for your warranty holders is an excellent idea and a good perk for your customers. Not to mention your price beat the 2 competitors I got a quote on by almost 1K/year. Thanks for running an honest business and having dedicated employees who give straight answers.

Awesome deal

Awesome deal, with monthly payments for 24 months instead of all upfront is reassuring that the company will be there long term. Also Robert was an excellent agent that got me all the discounts I qualified for and without the high pressure tactics so commonly used by other companies to get me to sign now. Great experience for me!

So far so good my salesperson Robert H was great, he made sure I got all my discounts that I was qualified for, seems like I got great coverage I haven't had to use it yet.

Wonderful customer service and great sales experience

The sales representative Robert Bryce was brilliant. I contacted 5 other warranty companies including Toco, Omega, Endurance, Car shield and Car Chex In all instances their reps went 100 miles an hour, never wanting to hear what you had to say (or ask) and at the end of their garrulous monologs would ask for your credit card.

Do not agree to pay 4 year contracts with 2 years up front, you won’t get your money back

Do not like how autopom is a 4 year contract that must be paid within 2 years. Have never seen this anywhere else in any industry. This is a tactic to prevent refunding any amounts should a customer cancel their contract.

Although the specifics may vary depending on the state, in general, a prorated refund is calculated by considering the amount of time that has passed and the number of miles that have been driven, and then comparing it to the total time and miles in the policy term. It’s impossible to find a mechanic who…

It’s impossible to find a mechanic who wants to deal with my warranty. My local Jeep dealer will not honor my warranty through Autopom and my local mechanic did t want to deal with the adjuster who asked inane questions such as “ how did the seal on the window break”? Ummm, it broke. In order to have a repair done, I must leave my car at my mechanic until a claims adjuster comes to verify the repair leaving me with no car. It’s too difficult of a process and I’m very disappointed in this warranty. I have had several repairs done to my car lately that I ended up paying out of pocket. Maybe if they provided a list of mechanics in my area who would honor my warranty?

Similar to an auto insurance claim, an adjuster may require information from both you and the repair facility to better understand the situation and the cause of the breakdown to determine claim eligibility. While many breakdowns occur because of worn or defective parts, they may also be caused by external factors such as car accidents, weather conditions, or vandalism.

Excellent buying experience

Working with my dedicated sales agent was a great experience. He was extremely helpful, responsive and not pushy like other companies. Worked through various options that were more affordable than any other company offered. Great offering and price compared to competitors and he didn't try to pressure me into a purchase. Highly recommend autopom!

Listening, not talking, is how you make a sale.

What made autopom! different than the others - in my case, Robert - was that this company/Robert listened to what I wanted to find out, NOT what this company/Robert wanted to sell me. Upselling and pushy tactics may work on impulse buy, but definitely not those who are analytical. Are you listening to this, Carchex? At the end of the day, I got the info I wanted, analyzed the pros/cons/prices and picked the options that autopom!/Robert wanted to sell! Win-win for all parties!

Robert was great!!

Robert was fantastic. Great experience. Very Knowledgible, friendly, and available. He knew Autopom products very well and explained them in detail. He also knew his competitors and pointed out good & bad companies. Now we see how they do on service when work is needed on the car. I have put my trust in Robert & autopom. I hope they deliver on all levels.

Clarification I…

I’m writing another review because I read everyone’s false claims. Autopom only sells the warranties, they do not service the contracts. Mile, the CEO of the company is honest and reputable. I’ve noticed that everyone that is giving bad reviews are buying junk cars that are usually on the 3rd or 4th owner and the car has been neglected. I would suggest people research the car they are buying before buying an extended warranty. Autopom is not liable for another persons breakdown. Don’t blame Autopom, they have nothing to do with the warranty company.

Expected better claim service

Not happy going through middle agency Royal. They wanted to replace my Cadillac XTS Vsport transmission with a used (not reconditioned) from a Texas junkyard. I had to subsidize the repair at well over $1200 to get another transmission from a more reliable source. I am disappointed Autopom would subject their customers to this tactic. Get rid of middleman "Royal" and pay legitimate claims.

Most Repair Facilities Are Not Members

There are no auto repair shops authorized by Autopom anywhere within 100 miles of my town (population over 100,000) and that includes all dealerships (Ford, GM etc etc). That means if a repair facility does not want to partake in Autopom paperwork the warranty is useless. My vehicle is at Ford now and I’m hoping they will partake when finished but it’s an unknown at this time. So far I’m not impressed at all.

Hi Jim, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. Your policy allows you to take your vehicle to any ASE certified (that stands for Automotive Service Excellence) repair facility. That includes just about any independent repair shop or dealership nationwide. We do have a partnership with Repairpal.com/autopom where you can find highly rated repair facilities but that is entirely optional. You should be fine at the Ford dealership. Robert, the person handling my call, was extremely professional, not pushy, very knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. Compared to other warranty company representatives I have dealt with, this was a night and day experience.

I went to the mechanic AutoPom…

I went to the mechanic AutoPom recommended, instead of the dealership and I still had to pay over $1000 after paying my $100 deductible. I don’t feel AutoPom lived up to the reason why you buy an extended warranty in the first place.

Not customer focused

It was too hard to contact the company in order to get the approval to repair my car. It took at least three weeks and at one point I was told by customer service that no one will be calling the shop again as they have tried 3 to 4 times in the past. In the end I had to go to the dealer myself sit and wait on the phone to get someone to them. I have to get approval. It was only for approximately half of the cost of the repair.
