Armie Hammer finds himself truly alone in the newest featurette from Walt Disney Pictures’ The Lone Ranger.
The short clip explains the intricacies behind one of the film’s riskiest shots, the Lone Ranger waking up on top of a spirit platform, a rickety wooden structure standing 2,000 feet above ground.
Filmed in Moab, Utah, at Dead Horse Point without a green screen or visual effects, Hammer, unharnessed, was nervous to perform the stunt.

Nikolaj Arcel, who directed the well-received Danish film A Royal Affair, is attached to direct the fantasy adaptation, which will be written by Jeremy Slater. David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films, the shingle behind the Harry Potter movies, are on board to produce.

Man of Steel has unveiled its 10th TV spot, which gives glimpses of more unseen footage.
Among the key scenes are Superman (Henry Cavill) buried in a pile of skulls, Lois Lane (Amy Adams) firing a Kryptonian weapon, and Russell Crowe's Jor-El uppercutting an assailant. There's also plenty of Zod (Michael Shannon) showing off his weapons.
