Kamala Films and producer Guy Stodel are partnering on an English-language remake of the Spanish heist thriller 25 Kilates.
Eric Garcia, whose 2003 book Matchstick Men was made into a film starring Nicolas Cage and Sam Rockwell and directed by Ridley Scott, will adapt the film, whose new title will be 25 Carat.

Following the success of titles such as Scott Pilgrim, The Sixth Gun and Letter 44 in recent years, Portland, Oregon's Oni Press is growing with the hire of Tim Wiesch as vp business development for the publisher.
Wiesch has spent the last five years as the director of foreign licensing for Dark Horse Comics. According to Oni, he'll be handling similar duties in his new position, although the official release notes that "that's far from all [he] will be responsible for."
