    Had optical cable already. That was only thing doesn’t come with. Older 55” led/lcd sharp tv put on. Ark not turning on and off only thing see not doing. No big deal as listen to music when not tv. Blue tooth work for music from phone. Greatly improved sound. My phone controls music level and goes higher levels than tv. Pleased. Got this one over newer as wanted remote.

    I use this on my screened in patio. The TV speakers were not powerful enough to provide good sound. The soundbar easily provides enough sound and the subwoofer provides more base than expected. It isn’t the greatest sound bar I have ever heard, but for the price it is perfect. I use it with a Hisense TV and it automatically changed the sound settings to mute the TV and the volume is only on the soundbar.

    4.1 ☆ because everytime you turn it on the speakers audibly tell you how it is connected to your tv and that the subwoofer is pairing. Aside from that, I have a hisense tv and this speaker set is simply plug and play.

    The bass is a game changer. No equalizer. However, it does make watching TV at night easier to hear since tvs are getting so thin speaker quality is going straight down. You can use your TV remote to control the sound bar. If you want to connect your phone to it using Bluetooth then you'll obviously need the sound bar remote.

    This is a solid purchase for improving the sound for any tv.

    I do not require an annoying 'loud' automated voice telling me the device is connected/paired.
    Half the house can hear it. Enough of that please. How about a softer voice OR 'no' voice at all.
    A Green/Red Light if connected/'not' connected would suffice.
    Also, why is the volume set to even numbers only? Why is the volume scale limited to this?
    Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Product needs better volume range/control.
    Easy 5 Star Product if not for the above issues.
    Connectivity and Sound are great.. Price vs Product is well balanced.
    I could recommend 'IF' you dont mind automated voice yelling at you after power up. :-)

    I never thought that I would use a sound bar. The surroundsound is really good.
