    Using this with Dolby Atmos is incredible. I specifically bought this one so I don't have extra speakers for the rear because I don't have room for them in my apartment. I would have to say that with the DTS:X and don't be Atmos audio tracks with movies, is incredible and sounds better than my old Yamaha 7.1 amp and speakers. The sound bar is beyond excellent to use in small spaces. It also sounds great with regular TV through the arc. Highly suggest getting this, and if you have the room I would highly suggest getting the 5.1.2 version.

    My biggest complaint is that there’s only 1 HDMI in an 1 HDMI out. That’s not insurmountable though, they make auto switching multi HDMI ports. Music via Bluetooth can sound a bit muddy. Not a lot of control of the EQ, despite having separate control over bass and treble right on the remote. I really like to have deep lows, even when the main volume isn’t cranked. I had that capability with an old Emerson surround sound system from the late 90s. You could manually turn a knob on the sub and seriously boost the lows, even at low volume. Sadly, newer systems don’t seem to have that kind of control. At least not the last couple that I’ve bought. With this unit, it’s a different story in when a high production value movie is on. Crisp and clean. When the Dolby Atmos kicks in while watching a movie, and that deep, clear rumble hits in an action scene… Like being in a good theater. Worth the money. Blows the Sony sound bar and subwoofer that I had previously out of the water. Still miss my Emerson though.

    I have been unsuccessfully trying for weeks to match a surround system to my stunning 4K Dolby Atmos HDR HISENSE 55U8K TV. In two tries with lesser-known sound bars, I was sorely disappointed as one wouldn’t work at all, and the other became completely unreliable.

    So I concluded that if you want a seamless connection experience, use a system made by your TV manufacture. Brilliant, huh?!! I chose this Hisense AX3125H and things went together easily, great sound and a large number of EQ selections to match the program type from Sports to news, to movies and more. I haven’t tried any 4K Dolby Atmos media yet, but there is a “Surround” button on the remote that approximates surround on normal TV channels. The included subwoofer pairs automatically and emits a pleasant bass at the appropriate level. So far I like it and recommend it highly for Hisense TV owners.

    Finally, the Dolby Atmos soundbar I've been looking for.

    I consider myself to be somewhat of a techie. I've bought a few soundbars and always disliked the muffled/distorted bass I'd get from the subwoofers, even if it was a hint. I typically turn up the bass some, but left everything as is with this one. This subwoofer has a crisp, clean, defined kick with that nice rumble you want! The soundbar itself is very loud and crisp. I've tried it with a movie, Xbox, some house music and WOW, rumble, rumble! The preset modes work nicely.

    Some pointers, especially if you're a gamer, get yourself two HDMI 2.1 cables. From your console (or device) plug your HDMI into the in port on the soundbar. Use the other 2.1 cable and plug it into the eARC on your TV. Make sure all Dolby Atmos is enabled on all consoles and devices. Use the EQ presets with this one, they work quite accurately and well. Also, push that surround button on the remote and make sure it is turned on. 🙂

    Amazon shipped fast, the next day. UPS also was quick, delivered two days early.

    Overall, extremely excited and happy with this Hisense Dolby Atmos soundbar!

    First off, let me start off by saying this soundbar nor any other brands/models soundbars will not replace an actual 5.1/7.1 surround sound system BUT it sounds pretty dam good for the money. I replaced my Vizio Atmos bar and this sounds much better. We down sized to a townhome and this is perfect. The base is not real heavy, so don't expect to get couch shaking bass from the subwoofer. The menu configuration is kind of cheesy but for the money I can live with that. Dialog from movies is pretty clear and easily heard. Atmos sounds pretty good. I would highly recommend!

    For example, after the soundbar was paired with the TV, every single time I would turn the TV on to watch something on my FireTV device, the screen would always blackout twice, then it would finally display "HDMI 2" on the corner. It was something that I just eventually became used to.

    After a couple weeks the soundbar began turning itself on at various hours of the day. Even after midnight I would sometimes hear the jingle it plays when it powers on (while walking out of my room for some water or to the bathroom).
    Then on week 3 it developed a nasty crackle/pop while browsing/scrolling through my FireTV device. Even while watching videos on YouTube, it would pop. Unfortunately I had to return it since I did not want to risk this issue getting worse, though fortunate that I was still within my return window.
    For the little bit of time I had with it, I really liked it.
