Our old no-name rain shower head was failing due to old age and mineral build-up, so we grabbed this to replace it. The shower head is well built and quite heavy, so be prepared for that. But otherwise, it was a pretty straight forward replacement. I did have to use Oatey Fastape to get it to seal, but our shower pipe was also part of an all-in-one shower system that attaches to the wall, so it's hard to say where the blame lies on thread gaps.
All said, the rain pattern is a notable improvement and it appears well built!
