If there's one thing the marketing team at SKIMS is good at, it’s collecting buzzy celebs to feature in their newest campaigns. Bridgerton fans are freaking out at the clothing brand’s latest partnership with season 3 lead Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington on the Netflix series. SKIMS, co-founded by Kim Kardashian, is a shapewear brand that boasts size-inclusivity and high quality.
On Monday, the actress posted a collaborative photo with SKIMS on Instagram announcing the collab. The caption said, “Everybody's wearing SKIMS.” In a very Bridgerton-esque floral and pastel-colored advertisement, Coughlan wore several long-form, bodycon dresses. Available on Nordstrom, Coughlan first wore the $80 SKIMS Soft Lounge Long Slipdress in shade sugar plum. The sizes range from XX-Small to 4X and come in nine other colors ranging from classic matte black to pale blue.
Throughout the video campaign, Coughlan wears a second SKIMS Soft Lounge Long Slipdress but in color lemonade, which is sold separately. The dress is approximately ankle length, features a square neckline and adjustable straps, and is made to be comfy yet sexy. The second half of the campaign showcases Coughlan in a $90 SKIMS Soft Lounge Long Sleeve Dress in Heather grey, also sold in regular and plus sizes. The maxi dress carries the same design as the slip dress, just with long sleeves versus camisole skinny straps.
With part two of the third season being released on June 13, Coughlan has been the face of Bridgerton during a rigorous press tour due to her character’s long-awaited romance with Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton IRL). Some of SKIMS' most notable campaign partnership recruits include professional soccer player Jude Bellingham, popstar Sabrina Carpenter, and Usher ahead of his Super Bowl 2024 performance. Kim K is certainly making sure SKIMS is booked and busy!
