Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 2 recap
The episode begins with Masachika coming to help Yuki out with some student council work. However, Alya becomes jealous and asks him to please give her attention in Russian, which flusters Masachika. They return to the student council office and are all invited out to eat by the president.
The president officially asks Masachika to join the student council. However, he refuses, believing it to be unnecessary work. He momentarily falters when he hears Alya might be running for president next year.
The episode reveals that Masachika and Yuki are siblings but pretend to be childhood friends. The next day, they go shopping together but notice that Alya has been watching them. Yuki then invites her to eat spicy ramen, and she agrees despite Masachika’s warnings. Alya eats the ramen but cries out several times during the meal.
Masachika takes her out for ice cream and asks her why she wants to run for president. She simply tells him she doesn’t need a reason to aim higher. He then asks if she has a running mate. She says no but tells him it would be nice if he would be in Russian. Masachika then follows her shopping and helps her pick some clothes. Yuki meets them there, and Alya is embarrassed when she is seen wearing revealing clothes. The episode ends with Alya wondering why they both got out at the same station.
