Tower of God: What Is Fug?

S.I.U’s Tower of God has been making waves both in the manhwa and anime community. The anime community can’t contain their excitement as the highly anticipated season 2 just aired recently. With the season diving more into the intricacies of the tower, more and more organizations have come to light. However, none of those organizations cause panic or are as notorious as the criminal syndicate known as Fug. Fug is one of the biggest factions in the tower, rivaled only by Wolhaiksong and the Jahard Family.

Tower of God: Fug’s main objective

Fug is the most dangerous secret criminal organization in the entire tower. They are known mainly by the insignia on their official clothes, known as “The Mark of the Slayer.” The group is led by Grace Mirchea Luslec, one of the high-rankers in the tower who climbed with Jahard.

While their real objective is yet to be revealed, one thing for sure is that they are against Jahards rule over the tower. The group is often mistaken for Wolhaiksong, who is also an anti-jahard faction. However, Fug is more of a religious faction, while Wolhaiksong is more like a club gathering. Fug’s infrastructure comprises 11 slayers meaning one to kill Jahard while the rest handle the ten families.

However, as dangerous as the organization is, it does not measure up to Jahard and the family heads. This is because the family heads already have contracts with the tower guardians. For instance, Jahard has a contract that prevents anyone in the tower from killing him.

This is one of the reasons Fug prioritized the grooming of slayer candidate Jue Viole Grace (Bam), who is an irregular and absent from the tower’s rules. However, despite Jahard and the family heads advantage, Fug remains one of the top forces in the tower.
