Hulu‘s new TV and movie releases for July 15-21 2024 include Hit-Monkey Season 2 and the Lucky 13 series premiere.
The second season of Hit-Monkey, inspired by the Marvel Comics character, swings into action on Hulu on July 15, 2024. Season 2 follows a Japanese snow macaque, trained as an assassin after his clan’s murder, as he attempts to shed his killer past.
Then, Lucky 13 is all set to premiere on July 19, 2024, on Hulu. It is a high-stakes reality game show in which 13 contestants answer 13 true or false trivia questions. The contestant who answers all correctly takes home a big prize of $1 million.
This week’s Hulu additions also include The Quake, The American, and Cult Killer.
The Quake is an action-drama thriller directed by John Andreas Andersen and the story follows a geologist. Viewers will see how he tries to save his estranged wife and two children when a disastrous earthquake hits Oslo, Norway.
The American, a drama featuring performances by Talia Ryder and Diane Kruger, narrates the story of Joy Womack, an American ballet dancer. Womack was accepted into the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. It is renowned for its rigorous instructional methods.
Cult Killer is a mystery thriller starring Antonio Banderas and Alice Eve. A determined private investigator joins forces with a mysterious killer to unravel a criminal empire entrenched within a seemingly peaceful town. Her mission: to exonerate her mentor, falsely accused of a string of crimes committed by an unknown culprit.
