Late Night With the Devil Heads Back to Theaters With Kevin Smith & David Dastmalchian Q&A

IFC Films and Shudder’s horror hit Late Night With the Devil is returning to theaters with bonus content, including a David Dastmalchian and Kevin Smith Q&A.

The year’s best-rated horror movie returns to theaters starting June 6, 2024, at 6 PM, keeping in theme with 666. The version screened will include new bonus content. This includes a personalized introduction from film star David Dastmalchian. That is followed by an extended Q&A between David and famed Clerks and Mallrats writer/director Kevin Smith.

Late Night with the Devil will play on over 500 screens across North America until the end of the weekend. Theaters include chains AMC, Cinemark, Drafthousse, Regal, National Amusements, Harkins, and Cineplex.

Late Night with the Devil looks to add to box office success with the help of Kevin Smith

Prior to its successful debut on Shudder, where it is currently streaming, Late Night With the Devil had a record-breaking theatrical opening weekend on March 22, 2024. That established its title as IFC’s largest opening weekend of all time. The film is currently rated as Certified Fresh at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. It also sits as the #1 Best Horror Film of 2024 on the site.

The story of Late Night With the Devil follows Jack Delroy (Dastmalchian), host of a syndicated late-night talk show ‘Night Owls’ that has long been a trusted companion to insomniacs around the country. It’s October 31, 1977, a year after the tragic death of Jack’s wife, and ratings have plummeted. Desperate to turn his fortunes around, Jack plans a Halloween special like no other, unaware that he is about to unleash evil into the living rooms of America.

ComingSoon’s 8/10 review of Late Night with the Devil was full of praise for the movie. We said ”it slots into that sweet spot of feeling like a comfy ghost house perfect for yearly Halloween watching. But it also has enough substance to make it more than a seasonal novelty.”
