Scott Ayers of the directorate for engineering sciences with participate in a virtual meeting of the newly created CSA common standard TSC. The TSC is developing a new standard which will include common requirements for all gas-fired appliances under the Z21/83 umbrella, such as gas ranges, gas furnaces, and gas grills. Subject of Closed Meeting: Briefing Matter.Date of Closed Meeting: July 17, 2024; 10 a.m. Record of Commission Vote: On July 15, 2024, the Commission voted unanimously (5-0) to close the meeting and shorten the time period for public notice of the meeting. 16 C.F.R. § 1013.3(c).Commission’s Explanation of Closing: This meeting may be properly closed under Exemptions 3, 4, 7, 9 and 10; 16 CFR § 1013.4(b)(3), (4), (7), (9) and (10).
