Readers’ Choice 2024 voting now open

Welcome to The Daily News’ Readers’ Choice awards — celebrating the best our area has to offer.

Nominations have been tallied. This year, more than 50,000 nominations were cast during the first round of the contest.

The top 5 nominees in more than 200 categories have moved on to the voting round, which is open until 11:59 p.m. Sept. 1. You may vote once a day per email. Votes are recorded as you click the Vote button. There is no final submit button.

This is the time in the contest when your participation matters most. Your vote for a business/person can make the biggest difference. So, don’t wait — vote every day.

• Nominations: June 5 to July 16 (at 11:59 p.m.)
• Voting: July 26 to Sept. 1 (at 11:59 p.m.)
• Winners announced: Sept. 28 in a special publication inserted in the weekend edition of The Daily News and online
