After what feels like an eternity, Bridgerton season 3 part 2 finally dropped on Netflix and naturally, we've already watched all four of the new episodes in one sitting.

While the second part of the series centres on the love story of Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Couglan), our minds have turned to the Bridgerton siblings who are yet to have their love story play out on screen.

So far, we've seen Daphne, Anthony and Colin find their match, with next season lined up to focus on Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson). Though it will likely be a while before we get any proper hint at her storyline, we can't help but wonder who does Hyacinth end up with?

While Netflix's Bridgerton does deviate from the Bridgerton books every now and again, it gives us a pretty good idea of what we can expect, so here we explain who the youngest Bridgerton sister ends up with in Julia Quinn's books.

Who does Hyacinth Bridgerton marry in the books?

Julia Quinn's book that centres on Hyacinth's story is called It's In His Kiss, yet despite the title we're told that after four years looking for a suitable marriage and multiple failed proposals, Hyacinth is yet to find the right match for her.

Enter, Lady Danbury.

Believing her grandson Gareth St. Clair to be a worthy suitor, she introduces the pair. While Hyacinth isn't initially convinced, the two bond over a joint effort on a jewellery heist – amazing!

The pair later collaborate in efforts to translate Gareth's grandmother's diary, with Hyacinth finding herself having feelings for him as they go through the process. With Gareth being Gregory Bridgerton's best friend, he's already in the Bridgerton good books and the rest of the family encourage her to explore the match.

Gareth finds himself developing feelings for Hyacinth and asks her brother Anthony for permission to marry her, with him obliging and the pair going on to have two children together called George and Isabella.

Obsessed!

Will Hyacinth Bridgerton get a Netflix season?

You'll be pleased to learn that both author Julia Quinn and executive producer Shonda Rhimes have said they will bring all eight siblings stories to the screen.

In a 2020 interview, the show's creator Chris Van Dusen revealed "This being a family of eight children and there being eight books, I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings. For each character, for sure."

We can't wait to see how this eventually gets adapted to the Neflix series. Watch this space!
