The Daily Mail, the worst paper in the Western world, says this is an “inflammatory statement.” What is inflammatory about it, exactly? The West should admit large numbers of people who don’t want to live the way we do? Should the Saudis do that as well — admit large numbers of people who have no intention of living in accord with Islamic law? The Daily Mail would never dare call for that. But if a French mayor dares to defend French culture, that’s “inflammatory.”

A right-wing French mayor has vowed to continue with the burkini ban despite France’s top court ruling the restriction is illegal.
Mayor of Cogolin Marc Etienne Lansade claimed people should live according to the local customs and traditions of the country they are in.
In an inflammatory statement, Cogolin warned: ‘If you don’t want to live the way we do, don’t come.’
Speaking to CNN, he said: ‘You have to behave in the way that people behave in the country that accepted you, and that is it.
‘If you are accepted in Rome — do like Romans do. Go in Saudi Arabia and be naked and see what will happen to you.’
A court in Nice has ruled that a burkini ban in Cannes is also against the law….
