What was that you were saying about there being no No-Go Zones? What was that you were saying about Muslims not having any special privileges? What was that you were saying about how Western authorities are not cowering in fear of their migrant populations?
“Internal Note Tells French Police To Limit Interventions in Muslim Areas During Ramadan,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, April 28, 2020:
A leaked internal police memo in the northern department of Calvados told officers to limit their interventions to only serious crimes in Muslim areas during Ramadan.
The note, which was sent out on April 24th and came from the chief of staff of the Central Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Calvados, calls for officers to not intervene in certain districts.
“Unless there is a risk of harm to persons or serious damage to property (damage by means dangerous for people, buildings, or vehicles), there is no need to intervene in neighbourhoods with a high concentration of populations following Ramadan, to raise a fuss, or to impose controls on groups of people gathered after sunset to eat,” the note states.
The DDSP note goes on to say that officers should exercise caution “in order to prevent a breach of the confinement rules from degenerating and causing a greater disturbance of urban violence”, Le Parisien reports.
Fabien Vanhemelryck, the secretary of the Alliance Police Union, criticised the leaked memo, telling the newspaper: “Contrary to what has been said and repeated by the government, this note proves that the police are therefore well-instructed not to go to certain places!”
The leak comes after multiple “vulnerable” neighbourhoods across France erupted into riots for several days and saw attacks on police and firefighters as well as several arson attacks despite the Wuhan coronavirus lockdowns.
In the department of Yvelines, police claim to have been attacked nearly daily for at least two weeks by local youths in troubled neighbourhoods. Several of the incidents required officers to deploy stun grenades to escape the mobs….

If what George W Bush told us about Islam was true, these Muslim areas should be the most PEACEFUL places on earth ??
Frank Anderson says
Much to my sadness, disappointment and embarrassment for believing GWB for nearly 7 years. . .I was fooled for a time. I thought better of him, and trusted him enough that he got my vote twice. Compared to the lying democrats now, he would get my vote again only as the lesser of 2 evils. He has NEVER corrected his “religion of peace” lie.
James Lincoln says
Frank,
I, too, was fooled by Pres. George W. Bush. I also voted for him – twice.
At the time, I was working 60+ hours / week, leaving very little time – or energy – to more critically evaluate his presidency – and particularly his views regarding islam.
At the time, knowing very little about islam personally, I gave him the “benefit of the doubt” regarding islam being a “religion of peace” – and that the “violent islamic fundamentalists / al qaeda ” were not practicing true islam – and were hijacking one of the “great” religions. That being said, I was beginning to develop some serious personal doubts regarding this classification of islam, however I trusted that he had many “advisors” that knew more than I did.
I have since, obviously, found out that his “advisors” were mostly muslim brotherhood front group leaders, particularly from organizations like CAIR, etc.
Keep in mind, too, that the CORRECT information regarding islam was harder to come by even several years after 9/11. Correct information is now widely available, even though it is aggressively countered by muslim brotherhood front groups – as well as leftists.
For the past five years, I have been studying islam to the same degree as if I were studying for biochemistry tests, etc. Jihad Watch readers, like yourself, can see by my thousands of posts that I have become a VERY staunch anti-jihadist.
Regarding your “sadness, disappointment, and embarrassment”, I would recommend cutting yourself a break. You are a highly intelligent and wonderful man that temporarily had the wrong information regarding islam – as I did at about the same time. Like me, you changed your mind after you had the correct information available – and took the time to analyze the correct information.
And you, too, are – now – a VERY staunch anti-jihadist and a very valuable contributor to this website.
Best wishes, Frank.
Frank Anderson says
James, most sincerely thank you for your encouraging words. I agree. I have found a number of times that candor, both to others and to myself, is a key to dealing with problems, particularly failures, including my own. I don’t know if you remember the story of my standing in for a lawyer friend who did not do what he was supposed to do in a timely manner. The judge asked why he did not; and I answered with 3 words, “Sloth, Your Honor!” My candor saved me from an un-needed chewing, that I had already given to my friend about the failure. From the judge’s experience with my other clients he knew it would happen. It all worked out.
How many of us slept because of the “religion of peace” lie? I think we should remember the shame, disappointment and embarrassment we felt when we realized our error. I think it will help us both see why others find it so easy to remain asleep in their Frankl “delusion of reprieve”, and us to see why we need to work at every chance to wake people to what is ongoing.
I hope you will join me in celebrating another year of life, and thanking the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus for His Gift. And His other Gift of Friends. Frank

Bravo, sir. If another 10,000 accomplished men and women do what you are doing, we will defeat Islam within 20 years. Islam is COUNTERFACTUAL, ANTI-INTELLECTUAL and SELF-REFERENTIALLY INCOHERENT.
Islam cannot defend itself against a SUSTAINED INTELLECTUAL INQUIRY and CROSS-EXAMINATION. Muslims will see that.
James Lincoln says
Kind words, mortimer.
Thank you.

Sadly, the alternatives to Bush likely would have been even worse.
Frank Anderson says
GI, without doubt you are correct. The day I expect anyone to be perfect is also the day I will be a very lonely person. That does not stop me from seeing and remembering imperfection that endangers my life, health, safety and freedom. If GWB was bad for his error that became a lie because of his failure or refusal to learn and correct his statement, all others in the picture are worse. While not exactly the same, the choice to me is like the choice between the extremes Germany faced in 1933. We have had enough time to see for ourselves and no longer depend on GWB or others to tell us about the ROP. That, to me, is why credibility is vital, once lost is is almost impossible to regain. I will never take GWB at his word without full examination again.
Terry Gain says
James
I don’t think that you and Frank had any choice but to vote for GWB as the alternatives were worse. I agree completely that GWB turned out to be a serious disappointment. In retrospect, I think he was in well over his head. My impression was that he had pretty well stopped defending his policies when the Iraq war went south in 2005 when the Jordanian Al-Zarqawi created al Qaeda in Iraq.
I think that the State Department was likely instrumental in the miseducation of GWB concerning Islam and of course the Bush family had ties to Saudi Arabia.
Frank Anderson says
Terry, I agree that all alternatives were worse. That is the quandary I mention too often that Germans faced. Their 3 choices were the status quo of poverty and disorder, or Communist savagery, or Nazi false promises of order and security. IF a German wanted the status quo there were more or less 30 parties to vote for, splitting the vote to the point of being meaningless. Change required votes for Communists or Nazis. That kind of compromise decision led to disaster. Can we learn from it so we can avoid it today?
James Lincoln says
Terry Gain,
I agree with both you and Frank.
As bad as Pres. George W. Bush was, the alternatives were worse. Al Gore in 2020, and John Kerry in 2004.
Still, GWB’s views regarding islam – as we all know – were way off the mark, and have never been corrected.
Giacomo Latta says
GWB was also he who thought that installing, well, trying to install, democratic culture into an area of the world that has only ever known tyranny and thuggery since its citizens fell out of its trees was a brilliant idea. Worldly he was not.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Frank.

Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonsoir Franck,
GWB is at the origin of the war in Iraq that destabilized the entire Middle East. I find it incredible that he did not know that islam was/is a totalitarian system. I can only give him the benefit of the doubt.
Actually in sensitive areas French police limits interventions to serious cases as elsewhere in the world and ramadan exacerbates tensions and mental disorders.
Bon courage to all

What leaders in the West *do* realize this? Certainly not Macron.
Even the savviest, like Trump and Salvini, are solidly opposed to Jihad terror but seldom know much about Islam itself.
Frank Anderson says
Hello Kevin. To me, “benefit of the doubt” is more often the same as accepting a lie, knowing it is a lie, while pretending it is true to keep from facing the truth. People have died by giving the “benefit of the doubt”. I hope you remember my discussion of Viktor Frankl’s “delusion of reprieve” that he discovered in the death camps. I think that could be summarized as, “If they don’t kill me today; maybe they won’t kill me tomorrow.” Sooner or later they are going to kill me. I just can’t face it and do what I can to avoid it. There was not much a starving inmate could do at the time. We are not starving inmates and we do have choices and opportunities to save ourselves and the future. So this is not the time for inaction. People, including me, make errors. Errors that are discovered and not corrected are lies. Pretending that almost 20 years later that error, ROP, has not been exposed, and discovered, is knowing self-deception that serves our enemies as beneficially as any other form of collaboration. I wish you well and peace. Frank
Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonjour Frank,
Bonjour gravenimage,
Perhaps GWB lied without his knowledge and consent because I am sometimes surprised by the abyssal ignorance of our rulers. But I agree with you and gravenimage, they have no excuse. It is too easy to say: “I didn’t know”.
The jihadists and Erdogan don’t hide their intentions. One of our former foreign affair minister said: “Erdogan says clearly he wants to rebuild the Ottoman Empire!” (I heard). However the Greeks hope to regain Constantinople and the Russians call for Hagia Sophia to be returned to the Orthodox Church.
It seems the European continent is stuck and do not see the end of it.
For better days
Frank Anderson says
Friend Kevin, there have been a number of times, including in courtrooms where I have spoken in error. Lying is speaking in error with the intention of deceiving. Speaking in error and correcting that error as soon as it is recognized is not lying, None of us are perfect. Our knowledge and memory fail us. There is no excuse for anyone at this time to not know the murderous history and intentions of islam, especially those who seek public office managing the affairs of a society. I wish you well. Frank.
Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonsoir Franck,
Sometimes we have no choice but to lie. To govern is to foresee and I keep in mind this quote of Antoine Claude Joseph Boulay de La Meurthe when he learned of the execution of the Duc of Enghien on 21 March 1804 “C’est PIRE qu’un crime c’est une faute – It’s WORSE than a crime, it’s a blunder !”.
A politician can not afford to make a mistake and to stick to it – My opinion.
Bon Courage

Frank Anderson says
Kevin, as in so many subjects, I think we agree. I don’t care whether is a politician, lawyer or any other person, we will make mistakes. The test is whether we will make the necessary corrections when we learn the mistakes were made. I respect anyone who is honest enough to admit and correct an error. I wish you well. Frank
gravenimage says
Lavéritétriomphera, I do believe that George Bush was genuinely ignorant.
But he shouldn’t have been.
Frank Anderson says
GI, there have been times I have made statements in error in the courtroom, totally lacking any intention to deceive because I know the first time I am caught in a lie is the last time my word counts for anything. When I found the error, I was always the first to expose it and make whatever correction or amends were necessary to protect my most valuable asset, my reputation. GWB probably was speaking in error the first time he said “religion of peace”. I am sure that was within a week of 9/11. It has been almost 20 years and he has never attempted to own up or correct his false statement. This is a serious loss of credibility. Following the rules that apply to all lawyers, I could not continue to represent a client who either intends to offer or has presented false statements or testimony. You have seen me cite Nix v. Whiteside, a US Supreme Court case that explains a lawyer’s duties in the face of a client’s intention to present false testimony. It is sad to me that an otherwise worthy, not perfect, man has tainted his reputation thus. What can we learn from this that we should also apply to others?
Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonsoir Franck,
I agree with you, but you are not saying anything new:
“People make mistake, the wise man is that who knows it and tries to correct his errors” (I read), and unless I am mistaken this quotation is attributed to Apollonios of Tyana [Greek Neopythagorean philosopher (probable)contemporary of Jesus of Nazareth].

Salut à toi,
This is hard to believe. During the mandate of GWB there were sufficient informations on islam and one didn’t need to be a genius to realize what exactly the Islamic system was all about. We should even ask ourselves who was in the position to determine the affairs of the USA at that time.
Porte toi bien
À bientôt
Frank Anderson says
Hello Kevin, a lot of truth is very old. In common with one of my hero/examples Dale Carnegie, I try to collect, remember and share it without pretending to have created it. “A wise man harkeneth to counsel; A fool in his own eyes is always right.” Col. T.C.H. Superintendent of military school. Exact version of Bible source unknown. Friendship and best wishes. Frank

Lavéritétriomphera and Frank, sadly it seems that George Bush never learned anything more about Islam. This kind of willful ignorance is not at all uncommon.
At least he actually stood against Jihad terror. But since he never understood that this was a core part of Islam, it led to an incoherent foreign policy, including the belief that ordinary Iraqi Muslims would actually embrace freedom and democracy.
Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonjour gravenimage,
“It seems that George Bush never learned anything more about Islam.”.
That is hard to believe, because that means the American government was corrupted and that the president’s advisers lied to GWB https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Religious_Freedom_Act_of_1998, as was the case (so it seemed) with the weapons of mass destruction (?).
“… Muslims would actually embrace freedom and democracy.”.
It did not work, because just like us after WW2 the Iraqis had the impression they were facing an army of occupation and not a liberating army!

Lavéritétriomphera, Bush’s advisors either lied to him, or they had swallowed the same bs that the president later did. Both are possible. But somewhere not far down the line you have Muslims slinging Taqiyya at credulous Infidels.
Lavéritétriomphera says
hello Frank,
I agree with you, so I have nothing to add to your comment.

Salut gravenimage,
Perhaps they lied to themselves, given that everybody lied in a “frank and straightforward way” (?).
Nobody is fooled but it is politically correct to claim Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. I am afraid we are facing this problem all over the West.
Bon courage

Kevin, we both will because we both have things to do for a better day. Frank
Michael Copeland says
re George W. Bush and “Islam is Peace”……………..
Here are six statements which can easily be verified.
Islam authorises the deception of non-Muslims in the cause of Islam.
“Using deception to mask intended goals” is Muslim Brotherhood (MB) strategy.
The MB’s main front group is the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
CAIR supplied George W. Bush with the “Islam is peace” message.
It was deception: Islam means “Submission”.
The deception of Bush has been a very successful propaganda coup.

The Kenites were a small, largely inoffensive biblical tribe, often friendly with the Israelites. They had nothing whatsoever to do with Islam. Why you are so obsessed with them is anyone’s guess.
OTTER says
There is only one reason why the world and the west continues to accept us. That is the threat of imminent violence by Muslims. The whole world has been cowed down by them.
The only three exceptions I can see are China, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. This is quite ironic and totally unexpected given that two of the three countries are ruled by Buddhists.
If the situation is so bad right now, imagine what will it be in 2035 when Muslims become the largest religious group on the face of this earth.
The beginning of the end….
Frank Anderson says
Otter, I agree the beginning of the end is in progress right now. The question we have a chance to address right now is whether it will be the end of islam or the end of freedom. It took from September 1, 1939 to May 8, 1945 to end (temporarily) Nazism. It cost in the area of 50 million lives and billions(milliards) of dollars. What is there to negotiate or compromise between life and death or freedom and slavery?
OTTER says
Frank,
When there is no resistance, it is the beginning of the end.
We, the regular readers of jihad watch, are regarded as ‘haters.’
We are in a terrible minority. We are losing.
Even Trump does not use the word Muslim any more.

Authorities have done little to protect non-Muslims.
Not sure how any of this is a good thing.

France: Internal memo tells police to limit interventions in Muslim areas during Ramadan
……………………….
This is madness. Were the police told to go easy on Jewish criminals during Passover, and Christian criminals during Lent and Easter? Of course not.
What makes this even *more* insane is that Ramadan is known as the month of Jihad. The police if anything, should be focusing even more on what is going on in Muslim “No Go Zones” right now.
Anne Smith says
Does anyone really care? If they want to infect each other why should the police risk their lives trying to stops them?

Ms. Smith, I think if you connect the dots, they will infect each other in hope of turning themselves into biological weapons to infect us. Think about the possibilities.

Awe, poor muslims can’t deal with anything regarding their Muhammad and his teachings of islamic “political religion”. But christians and jews are supposed to put up with muslim hate speech, killings, rape, defacing of religious sites etc. What the hell is wrong with the world to allow this. Islam and muslims are no better than any other race or religion, as a matter of fact islam is totally male dominate, extremely racist and loaded with hate speech.
