“ISIS-linked militants kill four farmers in Indonesian village,” AFP, May 12, 2021:
ISIS-linked extremists have killed four farmers in a remote village on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, police confirmed Wednesday, with one of the victims reportedly beheaded.
Five sword-wielding attackers ambushed a group of farmers who were harvesting their coffee plantation in Kalimago village in Poso regency on Tuesday morning, Central Sulawesi police spokesperson Didik Supranoto said.
The police blamed the attack on the Sulawesi-based East Indonesia Mujahideen (MIT), one of dozens of radical groups across the Southeast Asian archipelago that have pledged allegiance to IS.
“Five eyewitnesses recognized one of the perpetrators as (a man named) Qatar, who is an MIT member,” the police spokesperson said.
Locals were made aware of the MIT members by their pictures, distributed by the police in their hunt for suspected terrorists in the area.
The attack was motivated by “terrorism as well as robbery”, according to the police.
“Everything the victims had was taken away by the perpetrators including rice, money and other belongings they kept in their huts,” he added.
Local media reported that the victims were from Christian-majority ethnic group Toraja, and one was beheaded. These reports haven’t been confirmed by the police.
Indonesia, the world’s biggest Muslim-majority nation, has long wrestled with extremist militancy and terror attacks, while Central Sulawesi has seen intermittent violence between Christians and Muslims for decades….

Scholars of al Sham
“The unjust killing and the assault this group has done on the funds and property of all Muslims’ is not Islamic jihad, it is corruption of the Earth.”

Mohamed al Yacoubi (Syrian exile and Sufi)
ISIS members are “deviators.”
“[The] caliphate state that [ISIS] declared is illegitimate,” and supporting it is “haram (forbidden).”

If “Daniel” really believed this, he would take it up with his pious coreligionists–many of whom flocked to the Islamic State–instead of slinging Taqiyya at the good Infidels here.
Then note that the only complaint here is ISIS targeting other Muslims–apparently enslaving and murdering Infidels is not an issue.

And how many people have even heard about Mohamed al Yacoubi, let alone listen to him? Good job coming up w/ these quotations from nobodies!

Note that this quote is all about Muslims slaughtering other Muslims–which of course the Muslims on the receiving end don’t like.
Murdering Infidels and the “insufficienty Islam” is prefectly Islamic–there is only some sliught disagreement on which Musliums are essentially Infidels and are hence fair game.

Hey infidel(which is Christian word used during christendom and has no basis in islam) Read my entire refutation of Robert Spencers claim…..I have quoted top muslims scholars from Saudi Arabia, egypt,Iraq etc
……………………..
Actually, it is Muslims who constantly target non-Muslims–Kafirs–it is not Christians doing this as “Daniel” here pretends.
And as I noted many Muslims just consider ISIS to be rivals. No Muslim clerics actually condemn their tenets as such–because they are perfectly Islamic.
Moreover, Muslims in Indonesia have been oppressing and murdering Christians long before ISIS came along.

Infidel u have not refuted any of my points but instead u r giving me unwanted justifications for your silly troll name. If u want to debate skype me at Daniel ally. I know u wouldnt because u r nothing but a keyboard warrior.

Anyone who agrees to reveal his identity is an idiot, as I pointed out in the last thread where you dared Mortimer and Gravenimage to do the same. This is the era of cancel culture and intimidation, so one would be a fool to play along your terms
As for your ‘points’, all I saw there were appeals to authority, which is a logical fallacy in its own right. You citied people like participants in TV discussions (why would those participants be credible, as opposed to others who disagreed w/ them? Oh, and did the shows put on people who disagreed? On what basis would a Salafi jihadist writer from Jordan have more islamic credibility than ISIS? – Clearly, international jihadist groups like Boko Haram, Islamic Movement of Turkistan, Abu Sayyaf and others have been happy to recognize the caliphate and declare themselves wings of ISIS in those countries
Although Saudi Arabia – which is the only country that muslim apologists seem willing to criticize – has recently been going easy on the islam, and started teaching their people about other cultures and stopped teaching them Jew hatred. On that one, I do have a wait and see attitude

Infidel, This “Daniel” is displaying some of the techniques used by “professional shit stirrers”.
I did go as far as to ask him/her what group was paying him for his comments and how much?

Only a complete fool would try to match wits with highly intelligent and informed commenters like Infidel or gravenimage.
A man has to know his limitations…

Clint was right about that “limitations” thingy.

Most people–including myself–who use pseudonyms here do so because of Muslim violence. “Daniel” is essentially claiming that no one is allowed to say anything critical of the horrors of Jihad terror unless they themselves are willing to expose themsleves to this same Jihad.
That this supposed call for openess is coming from a poster who has himself posted under another username–“Bullet”–and then claimed that this is another post whom he agrees with–is especially grotesque.
Then, the only thing that comes up under his name is the guy of the same moniker flogging “get rich quick” schemes. No way to know if this is the same dude or not…seems unlikely. In this case, his offer to “debate” Infidel is of questionable honesty…

Enough of this, and coffee prices will rise even higher. mozlums murder and steal and even the poor “farmers working their crop” don’t get a break, and most assuredly because they are Christians.
Christians in Africa, Christians in pakistan, Christians in Indonesia….are being slaughtered by mozlums and the world still welcomes the like-minded of these murderers into the different nations, giving them room and board, giving them a ‘welcome’ and denying that there is any reason not to.
With a full flow of mozlums into all of the countries of the earth, there will be an increase in the slaughter of Christians everywhere. Just what satan and his “world” want.

I’d avoid Indonesian coffee at all, just like I generally boycott stuff from muslim countries. As it is, in the 90s, I developed a taste for Colombian coffee, and that remains my favorite. However, most coffee shops don’t seem to carry them, in which case, I settle for Cafe Americana
P.S. Congratulations on the first on-topic post in this thread

Thank you. I don’t drink the coffee from there either. I try for those tried and true Juan Valdez types. Brazil is suffering a drought and prices are expected to rise.

He lost me at #4 about the “Islamic tolerance displayed by great empires such as the Mughals and OTTOMANS.” A lot of Greek/Armenians/Assyrians would beg to differ—
if they hadn’t been massacred.
Sorry, couldn’t let that one pass—

And while that was the Ottomans, 80 million Hindus and Sikhs died at the hands of the Mughals. And another 70 million b/w the invasions of India from Mahmoud of Ghazni to Tamerlane and beyond
