Feeling so inspired after our #LosAngeles and #SanFrancisco Partner Gatherings and an amazing week at #SummerSymposium. Couldn't be happier to team up this week with my dear friend and #afterschool expert Angelica Portillo 4X! Three in person workshops in Columbia, SC at Riley Institute at Furman University and a virtual workshop with AfterSchool HQ. In July our Alliance for a Healthier Generation DFW-based team hosted a lovely dinner in honor of colleagues from all corners of the nation— in town for partner, funder collaborations, and celebrations. Our team is on the move! Sean Brock, Emily Shore, MPH, and Emma Wahlen attended the Active Schools US Summit in Colorado this week to connect with educators and physical activity experts and discuss best practices for creating an active school culture. Sean, Emily, and Emma shared Healthier Generation's physical activity tools and resources with Summit attendees and had the opportunity to introduce attendees to The Walking Classroom!
