    Hu found a secret weapon to extend their sales in the field... They knew they wanted to communicate their premium positioning in store. The team came up with a wooden display rack that served multiple purposed: -increased visibility for more sales velocity -maintain premium branding through the quality of the look/feel -communicate clear points of difference These wooden racks have been a massive success that have increased velocities in stores across the country! Kudos to the Basemakers team on landing this awesome rack display!

    From 90's icon to Bankruptcy & Back: The Clearly Canadian Story Clearly Canadian was born in 1987 in British Columbia, Canada. At a time when the market was dominated by sugary artificial sodas, Clearly Canadian introduced a revolutionary idea – pure, natural sparkling water with real fruit flavors. Each bottle, with its iconic blue glass, became a symbol of purity - reinforcing their natural approach against the artificial flavors of the other sodas. They quickly become a go-to brand in the 90's with massive success. However, in early 2000's the brand faced financial challenges that put them on the back foot. They filed for bankruptcy with only $12,000 to their name! A venture capitalist, Robert Khan, bought the company with the goal to revive his beloved beverage. He had an innovative idea to kickstart the relaunch: crowdfunding using pre-orders. Thanks to the passionate support of fans and a successful crowdfunding campaign, Clearly Canadian was soon relaunched! They've been growing and innovating ever since - recently launching a zero calorie line to reach new consumers. Love to see the resilience of Clearly Canadian and proud to work with them!     ⚡️showcase: Spade makes the final five!⚡️ Excited to share more on the final brand who made the top 5 in the Basemakers Founding Brand Partner competition! Here is their story: Blake and Jake Berman embarked on a journey to create Spade Soda, driven by a fundamental question: “Why can’t sodas be as healthy as sparkling waters?” This simple question led to the birth of Spade. Their initial goal was to create such a product for personal use. With a SodaStream and natural ingredients ordered online, their kitchen turned into a makeshift lab. Through meticulous experimentation, they crafted a soda that excelled in flavor while meeting their standards. Today, Spade has expanded from their DIY lab to an official co-packer to help their expansion into retailers across the country. Awesome to see the power of a vision & the collaboration amongst brothers turn into a brand on shelf. Congrats to Spade!

    ⚡Showcase: Legally Addictive Foods makes the finals!⚡ Thrilled to announce Legally Addictive has made the final five for Basemakers Founding Brand Partner competition! Here is their story: In 2015, Laura Shafferman saw a gap in the market for a snack that combined cookies and crackers. Experimenting in her kitchen, she created Legally Addictive: graham crackers topped with chocolate and sea salt. This blend of sweet and salty became an instant hit among friends and family. Starting small, Laura sold her snacks at local markets, quickly catching the attention of food bloggers and influencers. The buzz led to increased demand, pushing her to scale production and secure partnerships with specialty food stores. Legally Addictive expanded its product line to include flavors like "The O.G." and "Everything Crack," while investing in eye-catching packaging and a strong social media presence. The tagline "Crack Cookies" captured the brand’s playful personality and helped build a loyal customer base. Securing deals with retailers like Whole Foods, Legally Addictive gained recognition and accolades. I've personally tried the products and can confirm they are addictive! Congrats to Legally Addictive!

    ⚡ Showcase: Oodles Of Doodles - Kids Beverage makes the finals! ⚡ Excited to announce Oodles of Doodles has made the final five finalists in Basemakers Founding Brand Partner competition! Here's their story: Alisha and Lee Eason, noticed a gap in the market for healthy and engaging children's drinks. Frustrated by sugary options with wasteful packaging, they set out to create something better. Oodles of Doodle Drink introduces "colour me cans" – lightly sparkling, low-sugar beverages packaged in cans that kids can color, wipe clean, and recolor. This not only makes hydration fun but also helps parent reduce sugar out of their family's diet. Crafted with real fruit combinations like Green Apple & Lime, each drink contains only 1 gram of sugar from fruit juice with no added sugar, and no preservatives. Helping kids have healthy options is an awesome mission to great behind! Congrats to Oodles of Doodles!
