Cooper Leibner Fellow at Center for Communication | Associate Producer | Public-Spirited

I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing journey I’ve had as the Cooper Leibner Fellow at the Center for Communication over the past year! As my fellowship comes to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of this experience— J. Max Robins Camila B., Erin Gromen, Kate Stanley, Joel Topcik and especially my amazing co-fellow turned life long friend, Melissa Fishman. During this time, I had the opportunity to develop and refine a range of key skills that will serve me well in the next chapter of my media career. One of the highlights of my role was crafting and implementing 15 social media posts per week across all major platforms, a responsibility that significantly enhanced the Center’s online visibility and engagement. I also honed my copywriting abilities, created engaging graphics, and helped copywrite for a vibrant newsletter that reached over 25,000 students and young professionals. In addition to these digital media skills, I gained hands-on experience in event management, providing support for the setup and breakdown of 15 panels, 2 summits, and 4 on-location visits. This included live streaming and managing talent logistics, all of which gave me a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to execute successful media events. These invaluable experiences—whether it was setting up the step and repeat, managing talent, analyzing social media performance, or leading content creation—have equipped me with a robust skill set that I’ll carry with me into the next adventure in my media career, which began right here at the Center for Communication. A special shoutout to those who made it into my video through my clip selections this year: Jennifer O'Neill , Taylor Mazzarella, Brian Stelter Michael Bremer and many others. Thank you all for being part of this incredible experience!

Managing Editor at Center for Communication and Incoming Marketing Intern at Penguin Random House

Its official, my journey as a Cooper Leibner Fellow for the Center for Communication has come to an end. After nearly a year with CenCom’s marketing team, I am passing the torch to the next class of Fellows. This past year has been a whirlwind of learning, networking, creating, laughing, and evolving both personally and professionally. CenCom offered me incredible opportunities, such as: * Attending the Stanton Awards and meeting Jimmy Pitaro * Hearing Billy Porter speak at the New York Music Month conference * Touring the Warner Bros. Discovery office * Experiencing my first NAB Show * Participating in 10 panels and two amazing Summits Being a Fellow was an unparalleled experience, made possible by the exceptional CenCom staff. A huge thank you to my mentors, Camila B. and Joel Topcik, for their unwavering guidance and brilliance. Kudos to my fellow Fellow, Mary Amoroso, for her unmatched tenacity and creativity, and to J. Max Robins, Erin Gromen, and Kate Stanley, the glue holding CenCom together and making the world a better place. I’m thrilled to announce that my journey with CenCom continues as I step into the role of Managing Editor for the CenCom newsletter! CenCom sparked my passion for newsletter writing and curation, and I’m honored to continue engaging our audience through this medium. For a recap of some of my favorite CenCom memories, watch the video below. Thank you all, and stay tuned! 🌟
