We’re excited about the construction progress on the grounds of the Cobbs Creek Campus! The TGR Learning Lab is set to open in early 2025 will be the first building open on the Campus, followed by a two-story driving range building and a short course by TGR Design. Cobbs Creek Foundation’s mission of restoring this historic golf course while providing golf and educational opportunities for youth in Philadelphia would not be possible without our incredible partners Blackney Hayes Architects, TGR Foundation and Troon. Keep following along for more Campus updates! #ChangingTheGame #ChampionsForYouth

We are excited to announce that Christopher Parker has been appointed General Manager of the Cobbs Creek Golf Campus. This remarkable facility in West Philadelphia, PA, includes an 18-hole championship golf course restored by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, a new 9-hole course, a golf entertainment venue, a practice facility, a TGR Foundation Learning Lab, and a TGR Design short course currently under development. The project, which will be completed in phases over the next three years, aims to serve as a hub for education and golf opportunities for the Philadelphia community. “I am beyond thrilled to be appointed to this key position at Cobbs Creek. The work that the Cobbs Creek Foundation and Troon will complete on the campus will have a profound influence on the Philadelphia community for years to come,” said Parker. The Kids for Cobbs Golf Outing raised over $27,000! A tremendous thank you to local Haverford School rising Junior and CCF Volunteer, Sean Allen who founded the KIDS FOR COBBS inaugural event this summer. "The idea for the Kids for Cobbs golf outing came from the values instilled in me by my parents, prioritizing service to others. That’s what the Cobbs Creek Foundation is all about—collaborating across communities to bring people together to do good things. I’m so thankful to start something that will really help kids in the communities around Cobbs Creek for many years to come.' Sean planned the event in collaboration with other local high school students who also volunteer at Cobbs Creek, Teagan Cook (rising Junior at Episcopal Academy), Nick Shanahan (rising Sophomore at Haverford School) and Connor Dodson (rising Sophomore at Haverford School). The goal is to continue the KIDS FOR COBBS event annually to raise awareness for this important educational enrichment programming provided to students in neighborhoods surrounding Cobbs Creek.

Thank you to all who joined us. We’re grateful for the ongoing support of our community. #ChampionsForYouth #LetsChangeTheGame
