Last month, members of the Conway Development Corporation were able to tour Westrock Coffee Company's facility in the Conway Industrial Park at the first Conway Regional Health System and Crain Automotive Team Off The Clock of the year. Since 2021, Westrock Coffee has announced investments in Conway that total more than $300 million, 1,000 jobs, and more than 1 million square feet of operations. With CARTI’s opening of a second Conway location, the city has yet another item to add to its growing list of advantages. For years, residents have benefited from access to CARTI’s leading-edge medical and radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging and cancer genetics and risk management services at the CARTI Cancer Center at 2605 College Ave. Last month, CARTI held a ribbon-cutting for its second Conway location, expanding its presence in the city and its statewide network. First Community Bank's new location on Harkrider Street has been a tremendous addition to downtown Conway. We loved getting to invite the community for a tour of the new facility last night at our latest Conway Regional Health System and Crain Automotive Team Off The Clock! Patrons toured the bank, appreciated historic images that adorn the walls, and enjoyed beverages and food from the local food scene. Conway Regional Health System, the University of Central Arkansas, and the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce also revealed art pieces that will be placed in roundabouts along the Donaghey Corridor, once completed next year. The pieces — Endeavor, Compassion, and Thrive — will be situated in roundabouts at Caldwell, College, and Prince. Artist Hunter Brown described each piece and the inspiration behind the art. This art will further showcase the model street Donaghey Avenue has become for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists, thanks to these partners, and substantial investments made by the City of Colleges and Conway Corporation.
