We are thrilled to be a part of Flint Hills Resources' upcoming initiative to build a new solar installation for the Corpus Christi West refinery! DEPCOM is honored to be selected as the EPC for this project. John Schroeder, DEPCOM's EVP of Distributed Services, notes in the article, "You don’t often see utility-scale projects for a single facility and while this may be among the first projects of its kind at this scale in Texas, it won’t be the last." We are proud to support Voices for CASA Children in their incredible Build and Ship Backpack Day! Together, we assembled 60 backpacks and nine hope bags for children in foster care, helping them start the school year with the essentials they need.
What an incredible day at VOICES! Huge thanks to our board member Jenna Devlin and DEPCOM Power, Inc for their support in a successful Build and Ship Backpack Day. Ten members assembled 60 backpacks and nine hope bags in under two hours! Not even a heatwave could keep these community givers from traveling to the VOICES office! Robin and Austin even delivered the boxes to the Post Office before the postage rate increase! Your dedication is truly admirable! We're not done yet—there are still about 40 more to go, but this fantastic start wouldn't be possible without the generosity of Depcom and the Thetas. These backpacks filled with supplies will provide children living in foster care with the essentials they need to feel prepared and more at ease as they start the school year. Let's keep the momentum going! #backtoschool #backpack #schoolsuppliesdrive #forthechildren #fostercare #giveback #volunteer #theta #Boardsupport
