I had a great time last week attending the AZ Water Reuse Conference in Scottsdale. Two of the great things about our industry are the passion of the people for our shared mission and the friendliness that I experience no matter where I am. Lastly, I loved the variety of discussions from the nuances in the regulatory requirements for advanced water purification to discussing the impact of dissolved solids on the experience of drinking water. I always come away from the conferences with new friends and a renewed passion for what we do. AZ Water Association Geosyntec Consultants

I am happy (read nervous) to announce the release of a signal processing software package which is designed to enhance and streamline extraction, processing, and visualization of time series data. While Claudio Schill and I developed it with earthquake ground-motion data in mind, it can be applied to any type of time series data from all engineering disciplines - just send us your unique file format and we can add it! Please check out the video below for a quick overview of its capabilities, and feel free to reach out if you're interested in learning more or taking it for a spin! Thanks for reading! Edit: Thanks for the encouraging feedback! Here is a link to a google form to sign up to the user group: https://lnkd.in/gRNezBzM

Team members from our Asheville, North Carolina, office volunteered with RiverLink, a local nonprofit. We helped remove invasive bamboo from the edges of the French Broad River, and we took the seeds off other invasive grasses to make way for native wildflower plantings. Big thanks to Emily (Murawski) Hreha, Kali Martin, E.I., Elizabeth Lassiter, Amy Huffman, Stephen Beveridge, Tim Young, and Sydney Kilgus-Vesely, our summer intern, who also planned the event.
