BIG shoutout to our participant Mike Edmonson who recently celebrated his 18th work anniversary and retirement from Buena Vista Landfill. Site leaders, Albert and Robert, threw Mike a retirement BBQ and presented him with a certificate of appreciation. Mike, who started working as a crew member at the landfill sorting materials in January 2006, has contributed significantly to operations and fostered a positive work environment with his crew. His dedication and hard work have made him a valued team member and a friend to many at Buena Vista. When asked what working at Buena Vista meant to Mike, he shared, “I love it there... My favorite thing to do was work on plastic and cutting cords on Fridays.” Happy retirement, Mike! 🎉 #HopeServices
