The National Eye Institute (NEI) is hosting a symposium on optical coherence tomography (OCT) on Mon 3/18/2024-Tues 3/19/2024 at The National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, MD. This symposium will celebrate the invention of OCT (recently recognized by the 2023 Lasker Award and the 2023 National Medal of Technology and Innovation), as well as highlight many current & emerging OCT technologies and applications in research and clinical settings. There is no registration fee for this symposium. There is a superb group of speakers including clinicians, scientists, and engineers from numerous institutions and disciplines (Drs. David Huang and Jim Fujimoto will both deliver keynote addresses). NIH staff and investigators from multiple institutes will also be in attendance. We are very excited that this symposium will provide opportunities to discuss and build collaborations that bridge multiple communities.
