While mentorship helps cultivate valuable insights, advice and knowledge for mentees, one of the biggest challenges I hear about from those considering mentoring is fear of failure. There's concern about finding the time, worries about not connecting or establishing a real rapport, or disappointing the other person because of unrealistic expectations and inadequacies. Well, it's time to face your fears because when women mentor women... leaders emerge. Embarking on a mentor/mentee relationship can be exciting and daunting, much like anything that is truly worthwhile. Signing up for a webinar like the one below is a first step in learning what to expect and getting over that fear hurdle.
