We often get asked about best practices when it comes to interactive demos. Specifically things like: ▪️ What use cases are most popular for interactive demos? ▪️ Should I gate or ungate my interactive demo? ▪️ Where should I place my interactive demo on my website? So we analyzed the top 1% (by CTR and traffic) of the over 18,000 demos built on our platform. And updated our State of the Interactive Product Demo Report to share 2024 interactive demo trends. Read the full report or see the takeaways below ⬇️

📺 How Keena Desai at Fivetran increased website conversion rates using an interactive demo landing page. “We primarily use Navattic demos to guide prospects from the consideration stage into conversion. Users who viewed the interactive demo page are almost 4x more likely to convert compared to those who didn't.” Building Tips: Think about your audience: “We think about the audience and their stage in the funnel. Our onboarding demos are quick and to the point, while our prospecting demos show features our customers like, balancing length and highlighting key features based on team feedback.” Take every capture you’ll need: ”The first time you build one, capture every screen you'll need because it's simple to edit within Navattic.” Read or watch the full interviews under “Customer Interviews” on our blog Note: These interviews are sourced from the builders of the top 1% of interactive demos from our State of the Interactive Product Demo ‘24.

📺 How Trupti Wadadekar during her time at Pushpay used interactive demos for lead generation on the website and as customer training assets for new feature launches. “For prospects, the demos are tailored to explain why they should be interested in our product or a specific feature But for our existing customers who are already familiar with the value of our product, the demos are crafted to instruct on how to utilize certain features.” Building Tips: Create demos for different audiences: “Think about your audience since the story your product tour tells will change depending on who's viewing or using the tour—be it prospects, customers, or internal teams” Use checklists: ”I find Navattic's checklist feature invaluable. It allows me to break down the tour into smaller, more relevant modules for specific product areas, ideally capped at 10 to 12 clicks per module" Read or watch the full interviews under “Customer Interviews” on our blog Note: These interviews are sourced from the builders of the top 1% of interactive demos from our State of the Interactive Product Demo ‘24.

Looking to launch a new AI feature? Below are 5 of our favorite customer launch examples: 1. Lokalise (AI Translation) Created an AI translation landing page with easy-to-understand value props, an explainer video, and a “See how it works” CTA to an interactive demo. 2. Optimizely (AI Generated Content) Published a quarterly release blog describing their AI-generated content feature, beta sign-up, and “See it in action here” link to an interactive demo. 3. PathFactory (AI Chatbot) Feature landing page + LinkedIn social campaign around the idea that websites are bloated and hard to navigate. They then use the ChatFactory landing page to show what a dynamic landing page looks like. 4. Checkbox (AI Chatbot) Homepage with an interactive demo embedded above the fold. The interactive demo has three options at the beginning, one leads you to the “Intake & AI Chatbot” demo. 5. Cohere Health (AI Nudges) Hosted a webinar around their newest feature, AI Nudges, and best practices for nudges. In the session replay, there is an option to “Experience nudges through a self-guided demo”. See all the examples ⬇️

After our 2024 B2B Buyer First Best Practices Report with Chili Piper - we wanted to continue sharing websites that followed our buyer-first criteria: ▪️ Accessible: How convenient and quick is it for buyers to book time with your sales team ▪️ Usable: How easy is it for buyers to get hands-on and use your product from your website? ▪️ Visible: How public is the pricing and packaging of your product from your website? So we create a Buyer First Bites “Pop-Up” Series. A live session where one of our marketing advisors will review a B2B SaaS website for how buyer-first it is. The first one is with the amazing Corrina Owens giving an example from an industry she knows well - Edtech. Sign up for our first-ever “Pop-Up” below ⬇️
