At NBCUniversal, giving back is more than what we do – it’s who we are. Last month, NBCUnites, our companywide volunteer initiative, teamed up with our nonprofit partners to make a difference together. 💜 36 of our colleagues partnered with the Taproot Foundation for a pro bono consulting event, sharing their expertise in marketing, branding, project management and communications with eight NYC nonprofits. 💜140 NYC-based colleagues made over 350 Pride bracelets, which were distributed to local youth through The Door - A Center of Alternatives. 💜 We held our second annual Creative Impact Lab Workshop where NBCU volunteers joined 48 professionals from nonprofit organizations and creative agencies for a one-day intensive training. Our volunteers and partners developed mentorship and storytelling skills, attended panels and discussions led by media professionals and engaged in collaborative brainstorming activities.
