1 in 3. That’s about how many nonprofits have no members of color on their boards. Yet, diverse boards are essential to strengthen nonprofits and communities.
So, what can we do to solve for this significant gap? 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Today, we're pleased to announce that 23 outstanding professionals of color have been selected to participate in our 2024 Advancing Racial Equity on Nonprofit Boards Fellowship. This transformational program strengthens the board governance knowledge and skills of professionals of color while equipping nonprofit organizations to be genuinely ready to welcome these new members onto their boards.
