We asked one of our Partners, Tom Pollock, some quick fire questions about Supply Chain... 1. What have you found candidates are looking for most in a new role? Stability is number 1 in an uncertain economic climate. More of a work life balance if they have a young family – hybrid, remote. Sales people are looking for more remote freedom. A lot of good Sales candidates (with the ability to travel 50-75%) are considering options if their current employer still requires them to be in office. 2. Why are people leaving current roles? A few recent acquisitions in the industry by big PE companies have made candidate’s question the stability within their current roles now. Other reasons are cultural/C-level changes that have left candidates feeling less invested in. economic instability means some companies are struggling compared to their competitors, so people are keeping more of an open mind. What are the most in demand skillsets you’re seeing in Supply Chain? Top 3PL, Logistics Account Executives, End to End Supply Chain PM’s. Quality Assurance for Manufacturing clients.
