Congratulations on your retirement, Dr. Ann! Thank you for all your contributions to QuadMed.
Last week, we celebrated the incredible career of Dr. Ann Merkow, a long-time QuadMed physician and leader, who has officially retired after 27 years of dedicated service to QuadMed and 45 years in the medical profession overall. Her retirement marks the end of an era at QuadMed, and we couldn't be more grateful for the profound impact she has had on our organization. The retirement celebration featured heartfelt tributes from Quad CEO Joel Quadracci and QuadMed CEO Dr. Kathryn Quadracci Flores. They praised Dr. Ann's remarkable contributions, including the life-extending care she provided to Betty Quadracci, their beloved mother and the wife of our company’s founder, Harry V. Quadracci. Dr. Ann has touched countless lives as a physician and has inspired her colleagues as a mentor and leader. She played a pivotal role in shaping QuadMed, and her wisdom and compassion have left a lasting mark on our organization. Her influence will continue to guide us for years to come. Dr. Ann has also been a prominent figure in the community, contributing her expertise and passion to various organizations, including ten years on the board of directors of the Women’s Center in Waukesha and ongoing service on the board of the Waukesha County Community Foundation. In honor of Dr. Ann's extraordinary service, the Quadracci family and its private foundation, the Windhover Foundation, have established the Dr. Ann Bartos Merkow Fund. Managed by the Waukesha County Community Foundation, the fund will support two organizations vital to the Waukesha community: The Women’s Center and the Waukesha Free Clinic. Congratulations on your retirement, Dr. Ann. As you embark on this new chapter, may it be filled with joy, relaxation, and exciting new adventures with your beautiful family. Your QuadMed family will forever be grateful for your contributions and wishes you all the best in this next phase of your life. #QuadMedFamily #HealthCareHeroes #RetirementCelebration
