August is National Minority Donor Awareness Month! This month, we come together to raise awareness and encourage eye, organ, and tissue donation in multicultural communities. Did you know that 60% of patients on the national transplant waiting list come from diverse backgrounds? Many of these communities face higher rates of conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, which can lead to organ failure. Let's work together to create a positive culture of donation and save lives! #NMDAM2024 #WeSaveSight #DonateLife
