Our unique “Three Pillars” program introduces kids to career paths across diverse industries, connects them with mentors to develop a career plan, and partners with companies to provide job readiness training, internships, scholarships and work placement. We continue to serve students as they transition to on-the-job training, technical programs, or college in pursuit of their career goals.

Thank you to the A+ Products, Inc. team for organizing this fun and educational field trip for our students in New Jersey!

A+ Products, Inc. Hosts an Exciting Field Trip for Think Big for Kids Campers! We had an incredible time hosting a field trip for the enthusiastic campers from the Asbury Park Boys & Girls Club, part of the Think Big for Kids program! The students had the opportunity to dive into the intricacies of the supply chain, exploring various departments such as sales, sourcing, accounting, product development, and warehouse operations. To top it off, they assembled their very own lacrosse sticks to take home, making for a memorable and educational experience. To conclude our eventful day, and to celebrate the culmination of our Employee Development Week, we gathered for a company-wide barbeque with the students. It was the perfect ending to a week dedicated to growth, learning, and community engagement. We at A+ are truly honored to be a strategic partner to this wonderful organization. Thank you, Think Big for Kids, for allowing us to be a part of such an inspiring initiative!

What an unforgettable field trip for our Think Big teens from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago - Jordan Club! The students traveled to the law offices of Winston & Strawn LLP where they had the opportunity to not only network and learn from legal professionals, but also to participate in a mock trial set within a courtroom venue! After receiving constructive feedback on their mock trial arguments, the teens got to interact more with the Winston & Strawn staff during a casual pizza lunch. Thank you to the Winston & Strawn team for dedicating their day to providing these teens with such an invaluable experience!

Shout out to the team from our Strategic Partner, ReliaQuest, who recently volunteered to spend time with the Think Big students at After-School All-Stars. The ReliaQuest volunteers did an introduction about their company and cybersecurity, then kicked off some fun games to teach about Internet safety. The students enjoyed learning more about creating strong passwords and being safe online. Thank you, ReliaQuest!

The Think Big campers from the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton were blown away by the red-carpet welcome during their field trip to Phillip Jeffries Ltd. Students enjoyed learning about the manufacturing process, which included meeting designers, viewing million-dollar printers, exploring hand-woven fabric from Madagascar, and learning painting techniques with oil pastels and watercolor. They observed a corporate meeting and learned about the marketing and shipping processes. Everyone received a complimentary goody bag as an additional take away from a very memorable field trip experience. Huge thank you to Phillip Jefferies Ltd. for making this event possible!

Thank you to EY for hosting this great group of students for a job shadowing experience at their downtown Tampa office! Our students took this opportunity to learn about what it takes to be a successful team member at EY. They toured the office, met with the current EY interns, and even had the chance to learn from senior staff. We are grateful for the dedicated EY team who took the time to organize this hands-on learning experience for our students. Thank you!

Kiara is truly a special student who captured our hearts back in 2021! Her Think Big for Kids journey started when she was a student at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast and we matched her with her mentor, Rachel. Read about how she discovered her career path and took advantage of what Think Big has to offer, completing an internship with Haneke Design and earning a Think Big Expect More Scholarship for $5,000 that she will use to continue her education at St. Petersburg College, with plans to attend USF. Huge thanks to Ashley with St. Pete Catalyst for highlighting our program and giving Kiara the opportunity to share her story! There are so many ways to get involved in Think Big for Kids and make an impact in the lives of our students. 🌟 Congratulations, Jose! 🌟 We are proud to share the accomplishments of our student, Jose, who earned the first Think Big Build Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship, established by College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk and Moving, for $5,000! Jose has not only been part of Think Big's career exploration programming at his school, but he also has an amazing mentor, Omar, and even earned internships with our partner company, Accenture, due to his interest in Computer Science. We know Jose is destined for an amazing career, and we are honored to support his journey as he is headed to Florida A & M University in the fall. Congratulations, Jose, and thank you to all of our partners who have played a role in his story!
