Last Saturday, the THURGOOD MARSHALL BAR ASSOCIATION and TMBA Foundation held its 6th Annual Juneteenth Scholarship Brunch Heritage Classic. Kahana Feld Partner and TMBA Parliamentarian, Cinnamon Carr, attended this wonderful event at Mozambique in Laguna Beach. Kahana Feld was a proud sponsor of this Juneteenth Heritage Classic. This is a signature fundraising event for the organizations where the significance of Juneteenth to the African American community and society at large is recognized and honored. In addition to paying homage to the Juneteenth holiday, another goal of this event is to raise funds to support the organizations' commitment to support law students and the greater legal community through scholarships.
