Team members from UT Health East Texas Physicians clinics – Jason Boyd, Ashlyn Craig, Rachel Villanueva and Ashley Villanueva – shared information about UT Health services, helped TISD staff members set appointments and set up MyChart accounts, as well as distributed swag. Congratulations to UT Health East Texas EMS CEO John Smith on his well-deserved promotion to Chief Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, a rank putting him in the top 1% of all of those enlisted in the military. “There was no question when it came time to promote John. He’s the best of the best,” said U.S. Air Force Maj. Aaron Wolfe, who traveled from Louisiana to Tyler to surprise Smith during a ceremony on Thursday.
