  • As the Wellington Regional Medical Center Olympic Games wind down we'd like to congratulate the medal winners for two of our most recent events. Team members representing Ireland showed off their prowess in pop-a-shot basketball earning them a gold medal while Cameroon took home silver and the Philippines captured the bronze. Meanwhile, in a hard-hitting trivia competition, it was Austria who finished with the gold while Ireland and Greece took home silver and bronze respectively.

The Olympic Games continue at Wellington Regional Medical Center, the latest competition, the always popular Twinkie-eating contest! For the men, team members representing Greece took home the gold, followed by Mexico and Austria. Over on the women's side of the competition, it was team members representing Italy who captured the gold, followed by Mexico and a tie between Austria and Cuba. First-place winners not only took home their customary gold medal but also a championship belt and perhaps some antacids! 😆

  • What would an Olympic Games competition be without an archery or in our case....golf darts competition?! Team members showed off their marksmanship and at the end of the competition, it was our team members representing Austria taking home the gold while Cameron and Cuba took the silver and gold. Congrats to all of the medal winners!

  • Did you know that robotic surgery can help lessen pain, lead to quicker recovery times, and leave patients with smaller incisions? Recently Dr. Kyle Eldredge provided an educational lecture to the Westlake community on the benefits of robotic surgery and the types of procedures that can be performed. We'd like to thank Dr. Eldredge for sharing his expertise with the local community. If you are interested in learning more, please visit http://spklr.io/6044sHtO.
