Account Executive, SMB
We're hiring an Account Executive to join our SMB new business sales team at EMARKETER.

The Role & Team:
As an Account Executive, you are responsible for strategically working an assigned territory to identify, engage and win new clients in order to position and sell EMARKETER's syndicated, subscription-based research offering. Your territory will be composed of the world's largest consumer brands, technology companies and media organizations.
Our new business team works very collaboratively capitalizing on both outbound efforts and inbound leads from our marketing department. Our Account Executive team thrives in a dynamic and autonomous environment where we host regular team building and training sessions. With our competitive spirit and drive, 30% of our team is on pace to reach President's Club, YTD!
You will report to the Manager of the New Business SMB team and work closely with your peers to achieve your goals.

- Successfully achieve your quarterly and annual bookings quota
- Contribute to growing customer base across designated territory
- Manage prospective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- Research potential accounts and ideal buyers in your territory and actively engage them with multi-channel prospecting activity in order to ensure consistent pipeline quality, quantity, and velocity
- Take ownership of the end-end sales processes in your territory, targeting folks in marketing, advertising, ecommerce, consumer insights, strategy/innovation and market research.
- Provide a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
- Conduct sales presentations and solution demonstrations
- Track all activity in Salesforce; consistently keep contact and opportunity records up to date to deliver predictable forecasting to the sales leadership team
- Anticipate and address customer objections, seeking to resolve concerns and drive win/win outcomes
- Proven track record of successful quota achievement in a new business sales position
- Experience selling subscription-based research or SaaS solutions is highly desirable given the nature of our products and services
- B2B full-cycle sales experience, selling to business leaders in the marketing, advertising, financial services, CPG, and technology landscapes is highly desirable
- Proven success achieving/overachieving pipeline and bookings goals and metrics equivalent to ours
- Base salary: $65,000-$75,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
