In this role, you will manage key partner relationships within the Personal Loans department. You will drive strategies with our strategic partners to maximize revenue and profitability, optimize customer experience, and strengthen partner relationships. The professional we seek must be proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and a day-to-day focus on bottom-line results. This role requires strong negotiation skills with a strategic and analytical approach to monitoring and improving results. You’ll be asked to identify new opportunities for online partnership growth, interface with IT, marketing, and creative resources to implement and optimize those opportunities effectively. This person will steward and coordinate campaigns through all phases of launch and maintenance, including price negotiation, contract review, reporting, analysis and optimization.

In this role, you will manage key partner relationships within the Personal Loans department. This person will steward and coordinate campaigns through all phases of launch and maintenance, including price negotiation, contract review, reporting, analysis and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Assume revenue and margin responsibility for a set of existing strategic partnerships, serving as their internal and external advocate
- Build strong, consultative relationships with partner accounts, from working teams through executives, traveling to their offices and meeting with them on a regular basis
- Scale partnerships and meet revenue and margin targets in a fast-paced, high-growth, high-visibility business unit
- Provide support and manage day-to-day activities of existing accounts; reporting, performance feedback, billing reconciliations, campaign setup, testing, etc.
- Work with creative, product, engineering and business unit teams to design and launch custom integrations on partner sites
- Effectively and professionally represent QuinStreet and its products
- Develop an annual marketing plan with strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve organizational objectives including borrower acquisition within partner vertical
- Provide leadership in the design, development, and implementation of products and initiatives to drive borrower acquisition as it relates to partners
- Leverage key metrics to optimize and scale partner performance in a cost-efficient manner
- Manage partner needs; manage product development roadmaps internally to build reporting, marketing, and other tools instrumental to partner success
- Source, negotiate and execute partner contracts (terms, rates, placements, parameters, etc) for large value contracts
- Utilize strong analytical skills to design intuitive reports and tracking to maintain strong visibility into the performance of individual partners
- Oversee regular reporting and monthly invoicing and reconciliation
- Create, launch and test marketing technology (landing pages, APIs, banners, etc.) to increase funnel conversion metrics
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development or Account Management
- Sound persuasion and negotiation skills; ability to build trust, rapport via telephone and email
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills
- Detail-oriented, with an ability to prioritize activities appropriately to maximize results
- Strong analytical aptitude, ability and desire to learn quickly
- Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently with little supervision
- BA/BS degree required in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Success managing key account relationships
- Ability in conversion funnel optimization
- Experience successfully collaborating in a cross-functional environment
- Expertise with Microsoft Office programs and strong overall computer skills
- Congenial teamwork attitude
- Communication skills (verbal and written) to develop relationships both internally and externally
- Experience in Financial Services industry is a plus, but not required
- Experience in early stage, high growth companies is a big plus
