Title: Application Engineer II
Location: 1 Washington Park, Newark, NJ 07102
Duties: Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch and Scheduled Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, Integrations using SOAP/REST Web Services, LWC and Aura Components, SOQL, SOSL, Platform Cache. Proficiency in Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud. Build and support Experience Sites for Communities including Data Categories, Topics, Translations, Knowledge Article Management, Custom Domain, Accessibility, Dark Mode support. Automate processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Approval Processes, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and E-mail Alerts. Integrate AWS Services such as AppFlow, S3, IAM, KMS, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, CloudFront, Athena, Glue, EC2, and VPC. Deploy code/configurations and maintain repositories using Git and VS Code. Follow TDD (Test Driven Development) approach while development and perform Unit, Integration, Regression Testing and UAT as required for the project. Develop and maintain web-based applications/components using HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and SLDS. Collaborate with team members and other departments in defining business requirements for optimal use of Salesforce functionality. Identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce Applications. Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming, and commenting conventions, and Salesforce policies and procedures. Evaluate, install, and administer third party apps and provide first tier support. Mentor junior team members. Position reports into Newark, NJ office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of experience as an Application Engineer or a related occupation involving experience in application development. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include:
