Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Underwriter located in Maumelle, AR. The Assistant Underwriter will be responsible for assisting in underwriting and brokering individual submissions based on the risk selection and pricing guidelines. The Assistant Underwriter will also support the branch office with administrative tasks and provide excellent customer service to independent retail agencies and clients.
Qualifications
Knowledge of insurance underwriting and brokerage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with insurance software systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
